Inside CHIRINGO’s Culture-Driven Comms Makeover

A thriving brand starts within.

The leadership of the restaurant brands CHIRINGO, CHIRINGA, and Hotz Coffee knew that strengthening internal culture was key to continued growth—and we were honored to partner with their leadership team to strategize and execute an internal communications strategy.

In partnership with Design Happy Boutique, Cherrytop and the leadership built upon what their culture does well: put people first. From bilingual newsletters to real-time SMS updates, we created tools that kept teams informed, connected, and celebrated.

Our work included:

  • A newsletter system tailored to each brand’s energy — starting with monthly, bi-monthly and then eventually seasonally as the communications program grew

  • A custom SMS program for normal updates and time-sensitive leadership notes

  • Team surveys to measure satisfaction and drive improvement

  • Culture-focused giveaways

  • CRM creation, build out and execution

It worked. In under a year, job satisfaction jumped from 76% to 94% due to the information received and leadership working to improve specific areas articulated by staff, and staff engagement saw a 30% lift. Together, we built a communication ecosystem that was clear, consistent, and rooted in connection.

When a company invests in its people, everyone wins.
